In addition to a walk-in humidor upstairs featuring cigars for purchase, The Jailhouse features a speak-easy inspired cigar lounge downstairs for those who wish to sit back with their sticks.
We also understand that cigars aren't for everyone, and that's why the cigar lounge and bar area have been specifically designed on separate levels. With the help of a high-end filtration system, patrons upstairs can enjoy their drinks smoke-free.

In 2016, the owners of neighboring Old Stone Steakhouse (site of the former Belmont Police Station) began the intricate steps to bring the town's former jail back to life. Now home to Belmont's premium whiskey and cigar bar, launched in April 2017, the building's historic 1960's story still remains strong within the walls. Post up at a stainless steel bar top surrounded by iron cells, wander the concrete-clad rooms lined with old photos, or cozy up on a leather booth in the back room surrounded by ceiling scripts of prisoners past.
There’s technically no separate street address for The Jailhouse, but you'll find entry at the back side of the Belmont Jail along Mill Street, located behind Old Stone Steakhouse.
"Too much of anything is bad, but too much good whiskey is barely enough."
